Welcome to Druces

Druces LLP & Clegg Manuel LLP

Druces LLP has announced its merger with the business of Clegg Manuel LLP, a Clerkenwell law firm specialising in property, employment, private client and business law. The two businesses combined with effect from Monday 21 June.

Clegg Manuel LLP was founded by Richard Clegg and Simon Manuel in 2000 and the merger will see all three existing Clegg Manuel partners and eight staff relocating to join Druces at their premises in the City of London.

Richard Monkcom, a member of Druces Executive Committee, comments "Following the strengthening of our team in recent months through a series of key partner-level hires, we are delighted to announce this merger, which forms part of the next stage of our continued growth strategy. This represents an ideal opportunity for the firm to build on our combined complementary strengths."

Simon Manuel, one of the founding partners of Clegg Manuel, said: "This merger will provide us with an excellent opportunity to offer our existing clients corporate, litigation, finance and restructuring services whilst strengthening the expertise in our core practice areas. Both firms wanted to add critical mass and more weight in selected sectors as well as join forces with like-minded people. I'm delighted to say we have managed both."
